PMR-D2594 Iran, Soltaniyeh: Gonbad-e Soltaniyeh (Oljeitu Mausoleum) was built by the Mongol Sultan Oljeitu Khodabandeh at the beginning of the 14th century to house the remains of Imam Ali These remained in Najaf however so it was used as his own mausoleum. At 48m. high and 25m. wide, the world's tallest brick dome, at present full of scaffolding.
