PMR592-04 Mexico: Puebla, a large industrial city, capital of the province of the same name, was founded by the Spanish on a "green field" site in 1531. Noted for its painted tiles and VW cars. One of the cathedral towers with angelic figures on the wrought iron railings. The cathedral, built 1588-1649, is the second largest in Mexico.
