Madeira, Levada da Serra: an old-established network of aqueducts (levadas) brings water from the mountains to irregate the crops. Following a levada path, one can be alone with the scenery. Cows, with calf, find better grazing near the levadas. Most cows on the island are kept permanently in stalls, due to the lack of pasture.
Keywords: island, cattle, landscape, flowers, luxuriant, lush, resort, semi-tropical
