PMR012K-17 Turkey, Istanbul: Byzantine mosaics in the Aya Sofia, built on the orders of the Roman Emperor Justinian, and consecrated on 26th December 537 . It has the second largest dome in the world. The mosaics were added in XI-XIII centuries. Illustrated here are Emperor Constantine IX Monomachos, the Virgin and Child, and Empress Zoe.
