PMR099K-26 Argentina: San Miguel de Tucumán, the largest city in northern Argentina, was founded in 1565 by Spanish Conquistador, Diego de Villarroel. Statue of Jorge Francisco Isidoro Luis Borges Acevedo (1899-1986), writer, poet, critic and librarian, in Plaza Urquiza. His work was translated into English and other major languages and was widely read.
