Behind is the Glockenspiel (carillon) on the facade of the New Town Hall. The lower scene recalls the coopers who danced through the city during the Plague to encourage the burghers, while the upper scene represents the marriage of Duke Wilhelm V to Renate of Lorraine in 1568.
