PMR-D2514 Iran, Isfahan: Masjed-e Jameh (Jameh Mosque) dates back to around 771 AD and contains later additions from the Mongols, Seljuks, Muzzafarids, Timurids and Safavids. The largest mosque in Iran. The west iwan, built by the Seljuks and decorated by the Safavids, is topped by a "maazeneh" for calling the faithful to prayer.
